Job description
We are looking to recruit two individuals with experience and knowledge of construction and small works management of property repairs & insurance sector. It would be preferable if the candidate has worked previously in property repairs to social housing stock or the insurance sector or similar before.
The position would suit someone with confidence in building knowledge.
The roles will include surveying jobs, ordering materials, booking the correct trades to jobs, organising the engineers, snagging jobs and handing over to the client.
One role will be covering social housing work including local authorities for repairs and maintenance including refurbishment projects, health & safety and claim documents, management of internal teams and approved contractors and coordinating all repairs and planning the materials and labour from start to finish.
The second role will be covering the insurance works dealing with claims for repairs, health & safety and claim documents, submitting claims to insurers and obtaining authorisations from insurers and the deployment and management of internal teams and approved contractors using the Symbility claims management system. and coordinating all repairs within our engineer base allocating the jobs, planning in for materials and labour.
Responsibilities include Establish and maintain relationships with loss adjuster/ clients and customers Deployment and manage of teams, also managing each job.
Collate updates and proactively manage jobs (in line with SLA/KPI’s) Liaise with clients to collate information and update them on existing leads/jobs.
You will need to have: Good organisational skills and A strong focus on customer service Have Knowledge and experience of building works and all insurance related perils such as fire, flood, escape of water and storm etc…
Experience: Working alongside a field team, basic knowledge of building technology and the building industry

Salary: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
