Job description
Salary: £27,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Location: Veolia, Stewartby, Bedford, MK43 9LY

What you'll be doing;
- Check and sign appropriate paperwork for incoming loads.
- Perform sampling and verification of incoming waste chemicals and raise non-conformance reports as required.
- Assign disposal routes for all wastes arriving on site.
- Sort and re-pack chemical laboratory smalls.
- Organise and prepare waste outputs for onward disposal.
- Assist the Senior Site Chemist and the Site Manager in the execution of the day to day operations of the site including the supervision of operatives as required.
What we're looking for;
- Qualification in Chemistry or relevant Science degree is essential
- Previous experience gained within a similar environment
- Waste management experience is desirable
