Job description
TerrAffix, part of RSK Group is looking to appoint a Site Operative to assist the on-site hydroseeding and general habitat operations of TerrAffix ensuring a safe, high quality and efficient service is provided to our clients.
The Site Operative will assist and take direction from the Site Supervisor for site projects and will ensure adherence to relevant HSE legislation at all times. This full-time, permanent role will be based across sites throughout South Wales and the Midlands so you must have the flexibility to travel for work.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the site based team such that projects are completed on time, on budget and to a high quality.
- Support the Project Manager, Site Manager and Site Supervisor as required.
- Maintain regular communication and provide information to supervisors, managers and directors on all site based operational issues.
- Ensure that works carried out on your sites are completed safely.
- Be willing to travel and to work regularly away from home
- Assist with ensuring that your sites have the necessary resources, equipment and materials to carry out the works.
You should have knowledge and working experience of the following:
- Adhering to company H&S procedure (including completion of site files and all relevant documentation as required)
- Working safely and in line with the RAMS and relevant Health and Safety policies, rules and regulations
- Zero tolerance for unsafe working practices
- Understanding and following point of work risk assessments as required.
- Operating plant and machinery safely
Salary and benefits:
