Our Brierley Hill Depot will soon become a huge part of our business, housing their own Delivery Drivers and Service Engineers to be sent to our customers throughout the Midlands.
As such, CareCo are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our Brierley Hill Depot!
The successful Site Operations Manager will be responsible for the delivery of an exceptional servicing operation, achieved by managing trained Service Engineers both in the workshop and in our customers’ homes. Some experience within the engineering / mechanical repairs disciplines would be ideal, but not essential.
What are my responsibilities?
- Organise the storage and distribution of goods within CareCo’s home assembly team.
- Ensure the administration team have the correct training and equipment to fulfil their roles using the OrderWise ERP systems and any associated software.
- Ensure that the administration team are calling all customers within the agreed SLAs to arrange delivery.
- Ensure that the assembly team have the correct training and levels of efficiency to fulfil their roles using the OrderWise ERP systems and associated software.
- Ensure the Product Assembly team are picking the correct stock and that they are assigning the correct stock to the correct drivers, including all the accessories.
- Ensure that all CareCo vehicles are kept in good condition, that all drivers are reporting issues correctly and when issues arise, they are solved in a timely manner and within the scope of the Travelling for work and health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure that deliveries and callouts are completed within the agreed SLA’s, and if there are any issues with the delivery times that they are communicated to the necessary parties.
- Recruit, train, and coach all members of staff to ensure that they can complete their jobs effectively and that they are the best they can be.
- Assist the Head of Operations in any task that is deemed operationally important. With particular reference to accurate reporting of all Site activities.
- Participate in effective communication to ensure colleagues are kept up to date with any issues that may arise, so we can learn from the experience and make the customers personal experience the best it can be.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the area in which you are working all, cleaning equipment will be provided to ensure this can be achieved.
What skills are required?
- Ability to lead and manage a team of people, consistently maintaining a high working standard.
- A driven work ethic and ambition to improve and develop the depot within its entirety
- Experience working within a similar role would be beneficial
- Management experience
