We are an Alternative Provision Academy supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs, who have been identified as being at risk of exclusion, harm or have already been excluded from mainstream education. Children are referred to use by partner local authorities and schools within the Northwest Region.
At The Kassia Academy, we use trauma informed and therapeutic approaches to re-engage learners with their education. We are passionate about giving our young people the skills they need to make a valuable contribution to society and to fulfil their dreams. We recognise that education is not a ‘one size fits all’ model and we carefully tailor our provision to meet every individual’s needs.

We are seeking a highly motivated school Site Manager, to join our team to ensure that the school premises are well maintained, safe, secure and clean at all times.
The primary role of the Site Manager will be to identify and undertake routine maintenance, repairs, improvement works and caretaker duties to the school site. This will include all types of maintenance such as plumbing, joinery, decorating and manual handling. The role will require somebody who takes pride in their job and who pays meticulous attention to detail. At The Kassia Academy we strive to provide our learners with the very best education. This core value extends to the premises and buildings.
The successful candidate will have relevant, recent experience of maintaining buildings, a knowledge of security, health and safety requirements and an ability to undertake routine DIY tasks to a high standard.
Leave entitlement is 25 days per year, plus bank holidays. All holidays are to be taken during the school holidays..
