Hi, we’re Securitas, we guard and protect things, right now somewhere around the world someone’s most important assets are being monitored and protected by our Security Teams. From maintaining a safe environment for fans at Wembley Stadium or monitoring CCTV for savers cash at a global Bank, through to guarding the real estate and construction workforce for one of the UK’s largest Rail infrastructure projects, our Security Officers play an integral role in making people feel safe.
How you will make an impact as a Site Manager:
- All incidents are reported in compliance with the Customer’s policy and procedure.
- Planning, development and implementing strategy for personnel training, including routine duties and emergency procedures.
- Management of special assignments, ensuring that agreed security procedures are adhered to and the Security Team maintain the highest professional standards at all times.
- Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly and repaired within agreed timescales.
- Being fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained.
- Ensuring understanding and demonstrable implementation of the Values of Integrity; Vigilance and Helpfulness.Ensuring adequate and appropriate training, advice and support is provided to
make the team successful. This includes ensuring knowledge and use of key systems, tools and policies; undertaking regular appraisals; providing open feedback on progress and career development; and managing underperformance effectively.Actively encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards. - Analysis of complex information to identify security related tends, reporting these effectively to the customer. To assist the Branch Manager in minimising the direct and indirect costs of the
Branch.

Essential Skills
What you will bring to be a Site Manager:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Due to the nature of our client’s industry sector applicants must meet strict UK right to work criteria.
- Current SIA licence
- Have a full 5 year checkable work history.
- Strong communication skills.
- Competent in MS Word, Excel and E-Mail (Outlook).
- Well developed interpersonal and influencing skills. Able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion.
- Adaptable and responsive in the face of changes in priorities, plans and schedules.
- Managing and Leading Others, decision Making.
- Communication Skills and business Acumen and Commercial Awareness.
- Operational Excellence and strategic Thinking (Planning and Forecasting).
- You will be required to work Mon- Thursday 08.00 - 18.00 Fri 08.00 -16.00 on a 48 hour contract.
