Position Summary
The Site Manager is responsible for providing leadership and coordination of the day-to-day operations for Koch Fuel Products. This position ensures that all daily tasks and duties at the site are completed every day. They are responsible for ensuring that the site is operating in congruence with all other sites and following the desired direction of Koch Fuel Products. The site manager is responsible for constant communication with head office and other sites to ensure the company is efficiently moving in the same direction. The wage for this position is dependent on qualifications and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Site Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage KFP staff at your location
- Enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
- Manage all maintenance
- Cultivate strong relationships with staff and customers
- Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
- Oversee daily inventory reconciliation is balanced according to Koch Fuel Products and PTMAA standards
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
- Manage receivables at your location to ensure customer accounts are current
- Required to make weekly sales calls
- Meet with staff on a regular basis for safety, accountability, basic business practices and alignment with the direction and vision of Koch Fuel Products
- Work with Sales manager and work with the sales team to bring in new customers and support existing business
- Work with Fleet Manager on site deliveries, vehicle maintenance and other vehicle movements
- May be required to deliver products while following all safety standards
- Send all needed and necessary reports and administrative paperwork to the Controller, and administrative personnel in a timely manner
- Willingness and ability to do all tasks around the site and office including inventory, filling propane tanks, administrative duties, outdoor and indoor maintenance, and cleaning
- Create rental contracts for Flaman equipment and assist customers picking up
- Any other tasks or jobs that may be required to ensure a site is fulfilling all duties
Schedule
- Work from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm or as needed
- On call and weekends as needed
- Take a 30 min - 1 hour lunch break
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal);
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Accountable and dependable;
- Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work;
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills;
- Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic;
- Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks; and
- Experience with customer service preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
Working Conditions
- Work in a busy, open office area with constant interruptions;
- Able to work on a computer for extended periods of time;
- Able to comfortably answer phones and give consistent customer service
- Able to work outdoors (Shovel snow, unload oil orders, etc.)
- May spend long hours in intense concentration which requires attention to detail and elevated levels of accuracy; and
- Required to meet several deadlines which may cause stress.
