Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Site Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Welham Green. You will be joining us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

Working hours: 39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08:00-5:00, early finish on Friday 08:00-1:00

Key responsibilites of our Site Maintenance Technician include:

  • Providing mechanical and electrical support to production ensuring optimum performance of all automation machinery
  • Providing a fast and efficient response to any breakdowns
  • Carrying out necessary electrical fault finding
  • Proactively carrying out scheduled TPMs
  • To be one of the key holders for the site
  • Carrying out fire safety checks on a regular basis
  • To be involved with continuous improvement projects
  • Shared responsibilities with key duties, opening and locking the site (hours are 7am to open and 6pm to lock up Monday to Thursday and 7am to 3.30pm on Fridays

Essential Skills, Experience & Competencies we’re looking for in our Site Maintenance Technician:

  • Mechanical & electrical experienced required
  • You will preferably have completed an engineering apprenticeship
  • You will have reasonable electrical knowledge to carry out tasks requiring fault finding whilst responsibilities and working safely
  • Experience ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft - Word and Excel
  • You must have drive, energy and enthusiasm
