Site Geologist or Site Engineering Geologist, Coventry, SOCOTEC UK, Up to £30,000 plus company van + fuel card, additional site based daily bonus + stay away allowances worth up to £5K+ p/a

We’re looking for a Site Geologist or Site Engineering Geologist to join an enthusiastic team delivering ground investigation and geotechnical services to a wide range of clients across the UK.

Here at SOCOTEC, we deliver excellence to our customers by recruiting and retaining the very best industry talent. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Your confidence and knowledge of ground investigation techniques
• An ability to prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, as well as assisting with the managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment.
• An ability to act as a Site Agent or a support role, supervising multiple activities and staff for short and longer term projects.
• An ability to Perform in-situ testing and sampling in accordance with the specification and current technical standards and to log Soil and Rock in accordance with BS5930:2015 + A1:2020 and the specification.
• Accurate record keeping of all fieldwork tasks performed
• Good liaison skills with clients as well as colleagues
