Posted on 12th July 2023 * Darlington £45,000 per annum Sister / Charge Nurse – Surgical Ward – Private Hospital Up to £45,000 per annum plus generous annual leave, private medical insurance and continuous training and development opportunities Darlington, County Durham Full-Time, – 37.5 hours per week The Client Compass Associates are working with a private surgical hospital located in Darlington in their search of an experienced Nurse to join them as a Senior Sister on their wards department. The hospital covers a wide range of specialties including orthoapedics (hip and knee surgery), ophthalmology, cosmetic and general surgery. They have two state of the art theatres as well as over 20 en-suite private rooms and have an excellent reputation in the area. The Role As a Senior Sister, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the hospital elective surgical ward. You will provide clinical leadership in an effective and efficient management of ward resources and lead and support the nursing team to meet all aspects of the clinical governance agenda. Reporting into the Clinical Services Manager you will lead a team of senior nurses, staff nurses and healthcare assistants in delivering the highest quality of care too all patients. This is a full-time role consisting of 37.5 hours weeks, which will include a variety of days, nights and weekends. You must be a Registered General Nurse to apply and be successful in this opportunity and be registered with the NMC.
