Job description
Evolito was spun out of YASA Limited in 2021 to exclusively industrialise THE next-generation electric motor technology and IP for the rapidly-growing aerospace market. We have now taken this technology to the next phase by making it airworthy. Continuing along our growth journey, we acquired Electroflight in 2022.
By accelerating the adoption of electric propulsion, we will help revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free electric air transportation.
Electroflight Simulation Engineering Internship Programme
We are looking for highly motivated university students with a clear passion for engineering and innovative technology, keen to gain skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, design and manufacturing environment. We are looking for interns to join the team for 3 months over the summer to gain real-world, hands-on experience within our exciting, market leading battery management company.
The successful candidates will work as part of dedicated teams on long- and short-term self-contained projects and will be mentored throughout their work. You will have the freedom to innovate and develop solutions to real challenges. It is likely that successful candidates will come from an engineering or hard science background and be able to demonstrate a hands-on, practical ability. The programmes will provide an engineering, materials and business learning experience and be a significant component in your future development and career prospects.
During the 3-month programme, you will use your science and engineering background to complete successful, real-world projects, and will be supported during your work by members of your team. It is important you are able to clearly document your work and to be able to present at internal meetings.
The internships we offer are listed below, however, flexibility for these may be considered on a candidate-to-candidate basis.
