Role summary:
Long-term mission to assist with a huge-scale decommission project in the US.
What you will be doing:
- Lead technically and provide guidance in developing innovative modelling solutions and delivery strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior modelers, fostering their professional development and ensuring project objectives are met.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in modelling techniques, incorporating them into our work where relevant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes and support the growth of the business.
Formal qualifications or training:
- Bachelor's/Master's/Research Degree in a STEM subject.
- Vast experience in the nuclear or other highly-regulated industry, in a technical role.
- Strong background in modelling within a technical context, with a demonstrated application of mathematical skills.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in modelling codes such as AnyLogic, WITNESS, MatLab/Simulink, Aspen Suite, gPROMS, and related process modelling software.
- Expertise in data science and management, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance modelling outcomes.
