Innovative Security Solutions are looking for a Door Supervisor to join our security team in the Birmingham area, B40. We are looking for an experienced Security Response Officer to join the Team on site, you will take a lead role on site every Friday and Saturday evening. Your shift pattern will be every Friday and Saturday 21:00 – 05:00 (8 hours), with an hourly rate of £12.Within this role you will be expected to:Participate in regular patrolling of the indoor of the arena, back of house areas, car parks and external areas, assisting visitors and staff if needed.Carry out regular checks and searches.Deter and prevent crime and unacceptable behaviour.Look after the safety of visitors, and fellow employees.Always a first responder to any security related incidents.Operate within the confines of the policies, procedures and rules of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).Assist with the setup, management and break down of any on-site events.Attend any training or courses that the company feels is relevant to your role or your personal development.Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.Security and Health & SafetyLook out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action to reduce the chance of disruption, loss or damage.Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening.To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult and challenging situations.Job Type: PermanentSalary: £12.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftOvertimeExperience:security: 1 year (required)Licence/Certification:SIA (required)Work Location: In person
