We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Leicester. The ideal candidate will have a full SIA licence and be able to provide a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all occupants.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activity or incidents.
- Conduct security checks of visitors and employees, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents and activities, and provide detailed reports as necessary.
- Work in collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Requirements:
- SIA Security License.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to use technology and security equipment, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms.
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Job Types: Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Salary: £10.50-£13.00 per hour
