A look into the role
Henderson Food Service is the leading supplier to the food service industry in Ireland. We source and supply a range of thousands of products to customers including hotels, restaurants, and public sector organisations such as hospitals and offices.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a superior quality delivery service shunting vehicles in and around the various warehouses.
Skills for Success
As Warehouse Shunter/Loader you will:
- Load and secure goods at the depot
- Shunt vehicles around the yard to designated areas
- Lorry maintenance to include vehicle hygiene plus daily water/oil/fuel checks
- Cage control and accountability
- Manual handling, specifically pushing, pulling and lifting heavy loads
Joining us as Warehouse Shunter/Loader the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
- Hold a current LGV Group C licence
- Possess a Driver Qualification Card
- Possess a Digital Tachograph Card
It is Desirable if you had:
- Driving experience
- A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration
- A good knowledge of tail lift operation

The successful applicant will be working 38 hours per week. The role will require weekend work and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
Shift pattern: Start times are between 5pm and 6pm (Job to Finish) either Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday and flexibility is required with regards to hours of work.
