Job description
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the daily activities of other coordinators, ensuring that production schedules and quotas are met. • Monitor the work and quotas of coordinators, chasing them as necessary to meet daily quotas.
- Help out on department specific subjects when needed.
- Compile information on the daily work and quotas and reporting to the Associate Producer.
- Train other coordinators and assistants on their daily roles, as well as how to use and maintain data in Shotgrid.
- Manage Shotgrid, ensuring that all production data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Keep the production organized and efficient by managing production calendars, schedules, and other resources.
- Work closely with other production teams overseas, to ensure that all production-related tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience in animation show production coordination.
- Strong verbal communication skills, and solid interpersonal skills
• Excellent English language skills both verbal and written • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong computer knowledge; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Shotgun essential
- Ability to organize, prioritize and follow through in a multi-tasking environment
• Strong understanding of production process • Proficient in Shotgrid or other production management software.
- Knowledge of animation production processes and workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to train and mentor other coordinators and assistants
