About us
Zara's Chocolates are a handmade chocolate company based on North Street, Bedminster. We specialise in making luxury chocolates on site with innovative flavours and products that change with the seasons.
Full Time hours (flexible between 36 - 40 hours across 5 days)
Must be able to work weekends
We are looking for somebody friendly & hardworking to join our small team this Autumn.
Working in a small independent business, your days will vary based on the needs that arise from day-to-day. An ability to be flexible in your plans and objectives to work with the daily business needs is a must.
This is quite a varied role, so no particular experience is necessary, but an ideal candidate would be quick to learn new skills, happy to multi-task, enjoy a varied workload, and thrive in a busy environment.
You must enjoy working within a small team & in a customer facing role, and ideally be fairly computer/social media savvy.
Your roles would include, but not be limited to:
- Serving and advising customers in the shop
- Making and serving hot chocolates
- Restocking shelves and keeping shop area clean and tidy
- Creating and updating shop displays
- Simple website updates & alterations
- Processing online orders
- Dealing with general email enquiries
- Writing short marketing emails
- Assisting with our social media posting
- Packaging chocolates
- Assisting with cleaning rotas
- Other administrative/shop tasks as required

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00 per hour
