Loafs Bakery in Penzance is a fantastic new venture by St Ives Bakery. We are looking for a member of staff to help with both the prep and service of our bakery goods and hot beverages
You will be part of a small team selling freshly baked products, sandwiches and hot beverage.
Daily duties will include the following:
- Serving and advising customers in polite and professional manner
- Organising food displays ready for sale
- Unloading deliveries
- Ensuring stock levels are well maintained
- Compliance with food hygiene and quality standards at all times
- Keeping production areas clean with adherence to cleanliness standards
- Serving hot beverages
- Progression into the food preparation and hot beverage service
As a person you will require the following qualities:
- Good communication skills, with a good level of spoken English
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be flexible with shifts to help provide cover during holidays and sickness
- Ability to work well in a team
- Enthusiastic and hardworking
- Food hygiene certificate is advantageous but not essential
- Available to work 5 days within a Monday to Saturday opening
Permanent Position
Hours: 20 - 30 hours per week
Salary: Good rates of page, scaling up dependant on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
