Our Role
Working as an integral part of the creative team the shoot assistant will support the LWC Shoot Producer and the wider shoot production team, assisting with the organisation and production of The White Company shoots for print and digital. The role requires excellent administrative skills, great enthusiasm for The White Company product and a willingness to learn about all aspects of creative production. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate, with scope to grow within the role whilst working as part of a close-knit team.
What you'll be doing
SAMPLE MANAGEMENT
- Managing and tracking all Little White Company samples coming into and out of department whilst building strong relationships across the business with Buying, Press and VM to support this
- Arrange and co-ordinate product handovers with the Buying team at start of every season
- Paying particular attention to changes to the product range for season (sample amends, new add ins for season, product cancellations) and taking appropriate action to make sure all relevant parties are aware
- Organise and maintain product sample storage in Head Office and Northampton DC
- Ensuring correct samples are available for relevant shoots, on schedule. Packing product and props for shoots in Head Office and requesting larger props from Northampton DC in time for shoot
- Working collaboratively with Shoot Assistants on other departments on potential prop cross overs from one shoot to another
- Creating carnets for shoots outside of UK
CUT OUTS
- Working on production for e-com cut outs shoots remotely to ensure all products have an image available in time for product launch deadline
- Ensuring images are delivered to brand guidelines and QC images as they return from supplier, flagging any issues to Shoot Producer
- Working closely with Multichannel Team on the status of cut outs for each product
ON SET PRODUCTION
- Supporting Producers on set for both lifestyle and on model e-com shoots, as well as shoots for the other channels
- Flexibility to travel abroad for shoots when required
- Create shoot lists with file name for each product and work with the digital operator on set to ensure all images are correctly coded
- Management of all shoot samples when on set, working closely with the clothing and prop stylists
METADATA
- Managing image uploads to internal DAM promptly post shoot, ensuring all file names and SKUs are correct
- Creating Metadata for all images
The skills & experience that you’ll need
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, in particularly Microsoft Excel
- Past shoot experience preferable but not a requirement
