Job description

Doctors Direct have new opportunities for SHO's with Neurosurgery experience at Oxford university Hospitals.

Duties will include:

  • As well as taking part in the Movement Disorder/Pain programme; Fellows will undertake ward rounds, ward cover if required.
  • The care of patients on the wards, in the theatres and at out-patient clinics as appropriate to the grade of the post and under the direction of the consultants responsible, involving:
  • Operating sessions
  • Attendance at ward rounds and routine ward work
  • Outpatient clinics

The details of the role are:

  • Grade: SHO
  • Location: Oxford
  • Start date: ASAP on going until further notice.
  • Days per week: Monday - Friday (30-40 hours per week)
  • Shift pattern: 7:45-17:00/19:30-8:00 (client will accept candidates part time 3-4 days per week)
  • Rates: £35-£50 per hour

Doctors Direct recruit to the highest of NHS standards and all candidates applying for this role must have the following:

  • Valid GMC
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clinical attachment complete
  • Minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
