OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The Shipping Coordinator handles the receipt and shipment of items for the Garage. They will ensure that in-coming shipments are inspected, sorted and stored in the dedicated back stock area as needed, and all associated shipping invoices are filed correctly. They will work with the store team to monitor inventory levels to place orders for both Garage merchandise and shipping/store supplies when needed.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Promptly unloads deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Managing outgoing shipping via couriers / national & international providers.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Retail stock handling (incoming & outgoing) experience required
- Experience working within or close to facilities teams
