Job description
Purpose of function:
Key areas of responsibility will surround quality, output, spoilage controls, health & safety and housekeeping
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety / Quality / Production Targets / Spoilage Controls
- Housekeeping
- To run and maintain all front-end equipment which includes the body-makers, trimmers, conveyors and presses
- To run and maintain all back-end equipment which are Coaters, Decorators, LSM’s, Belvac, Neckers and Light Testers
- Carry out regular quality checks
- Carry out regular changes and neck diameter changes
- Conduct overhauls / project work
- Maintenance of all Plant Services
Qualifications: Time-served, HNC or equivalent
Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English
Computer Skills: MS Office
Previous Job / Project Experience
- Experience of working in a fast speed, high volume manufacturing environment.
- A flexible approach to work content in-line with day to day requirements.
- A willingness to extend your range of required skills is essential.
- Evidence of self-motivation, an ability to use your own initiative and to accept a level of responsibility.
£49,934.30 per annum (inc shift allowance)
Continous shift pattern, 12 hour shifts
4 on, 4 off (2 x days, 2 x nights)
5 x 18 day breaks built into the shift pattern
