Shift Security Guard – West Thurrock SiteWe are currently recruiting for a Shift Security Guard to be based at our West Thurrock site, covering days, nights and weekends. This role is working on a COMAH site so a high level of security is required. The job holder will be required to answer telephone calls during non-office hours, ensure lorries that come in and out of site are weighed using the weighbridge, site patrols and check all visitors, personnel and contractors on site.General security duties include:· Site patrols· Weighbridge duties· Vehicle and person searches· Access control checking passes· Completing signing in documentation· Monitoring check calls from lone working Security on our other covered sites· Answering calls internally and externally· Any other duty that is deemed reasonable by ManagementPerson Specification:· To remain alert and vigilant at all times, whilst working· Ability to work on own initiative or within a team environment· SIA License preferred but not essential· Full UK Driving License· Good telephone manner· Some Weighbridge experience is desirable· Experience in patrolling, searching and general security knowledge· Honest, presentable and punctualShift: 4 On, 4 Off Shift pattern consists of 2 days (06:00-18:00) and 2 nights (18:00 - 06:00)Benefits include: 17.5 days holiday, weekly paid, company pension, private medical insurance, free parking on site, cycle-to-work scheme open twice a year, long service payment and additional holiday after 5 years’ service and life assurance scheme (at 3x annual salary).Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £33,890.00-£33,895.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionCycle to work schemeLife insuranceOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceSchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftExperience:Security: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:SIA License (preferred)Work Location: In personReference ID: Shift Security Guard 4 On, 4 Off
