In addition we have high value ongoing CAPEX investment projects for implementation at the site throughout 2023.

Do you want to be part of this?

We now seek a number of Shift Managers each to lead a large team, working a 24/7 four on four off shift pattern, reporting to a Production Manager. These roles are excellent career development opportunities to learn from industry experts, and develop your operations career.

About the Role

As Shift Manager you will work on a 24/7 shift pattern - working 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts. We are reintroducing this role in to our Operations at Bridgwater so that there is a higher level of managment visibility and presence across all shifts.

You will have a good idea of the main duties and tasks involved as you will have worked previously in manufacturing, but to be clear here are some of the main responsibilities of the role:

  • Own all things in your factory when on shift, including ensuring factory OEE is optimised on your shift through regular reviews with Team Leaders, Engineers and planning departments.
  • Build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to achieve the goals and objectives for the Factory.
  • To have full accountability for the management of agreed budgets specific to your shift (labour and materials).
  • Use factory KPI's to drive improvement activities and plans for the shift.
  • Ensure that your shift is trained and competent against all latest SOP's.
  • With your team - keep quality, health & safety and continuous improvement at the top of the daily agenda and measure these against the set KPI's.
  • Ensure site is always audit ready.
  • Develop your team from good to great.
  • Manage, lead and contribute to a range of site projects when required.

About You

You will have experience working within manufacturing, and managing, leading and motivating a team within FMCG Manufacturing, ideally food or drinks. You will have an in-depth knowledge of production processes, and a proven record of meeting targets and improving performance, through continuous improvement methodology. You will also have a good knowledge of quality systems and a passion for ensuring quality standards are met and maintained, plus a very good record on health and safety with up to date practical knowledge applied in a manufacturing environment.

As a high profile manager you will be a role model to many others and ultimately, we want our people to align with, and resonate the Refresco Values as we believe these are what have made us, and will continue to make us, successful.
