We are looking for a Shift Manager in our warehouse to be part of a team that works together to provide excellent service. You will be a key part of the Tuffnells team and play a huge part in our growth and success. This role is about more than just providing great service, it is about putting our customers at the heart of what we do every day.
This role is working 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 16:00 - 01:00 ( some flex required - to be discussed art interview stage )

As a Shift Manager on our Mid Shift, you will manage and oversee the operation and maximise the performance by directing the team. This may be over a range of areas and team members, including, vehicle equipment, drivers, warehouse operatives, supervisors, and support staff. You will organise the resources available in a cost-effective manner to ensure costs are in line with the budget whilst achieving set service levels.
You will need to
- Have previous experience in managing a team
- Demonstrate a background of success in achieving and exceeding targets whilst in a fast paced environment
- Have a practical knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Have the ability to run a positive, fast paced operations, managing and motivating a team to succeed
- Be motivated and passionate
- Have a strong work ethic and desire to work as a team to help Tuffnells succeed
- Demonstrate excellent communication both verbally and written
- Ideally have experience working within Supply chain, logistics, FMCG, warehouse or distribution
