Starting salary of £21,541 (£10.86 per hour) increasing to £23,750 (£11.97 per hour), on completion of 6 month probation period. Plus, an additional supplement of £778 per annum pro rota, nightshift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week).
Night Duty allowance £2.36 per hour (payable between 20:00 and 06:00) plus a further allowance of £192.26 per month
Contract Type: Permanent
Working hours: 38 Full time hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Typical attendance will be 23:30 - 07:30 Monday to Friday

About the role
This position will involve working on the night shift as Shift Supervisor. You will be responsible for:
Supervising the nightshift to ensure smooth transition to the morning shift
Book all missorts in and out using the correct procedure
Provide the Delivery Manager a nightly sort and load plan
Ensure 100% scanning compliance
Monitor and record H&S matters including weigh bills and pre-user checks
Deliver weekly team briefings
Driving Licence Requirements
It’s essential that you have a full manual driving licence (in your current address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B). In an ideal world you’ll have a clean licence but it definitely shouldn’t have more than 6 penalty points. And, just so you know, you’ll be required to show your licence at your assessment.
About you
As someone who is positive and practical, you’ll enjoy the hands-on nature of this role. It’s vital that you have good attention to detail, good interpersonal and leadership skills. Be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. Willing to attend relevant training courses.
