Rhenus Home Delivery provides a 2-man home delivery service to customers around the UK. We offer quality, professionalism, reliability and excellent service when dealing with our customers.
We are currently looking to recruit a full time Warehouse and Returns Shift Manager who is available to start as soon as possible based at our depot in Magna Park, Lutterworth. Working pattern for this role is 8 AM to 4.30 PM, Monday to Friday.
The Role
To maintain high customer satisfaction levels through excellence in dispatching, identifying, receiving, and ensuring quality of products. Measure and address the effectiveness of employee performance and warehousing activities and employees performance. Organising and maintaining inventory and storage area. Monitor and continually improve the Depot KPI’s as set out by the Operations Manager.
- Control and organise storage and inventory of customer products including live orders.
- Management of the onsite team of Supervisors, Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipments, inbound and outbound.
- Communicate position expectations and train employees of Standard Operating Procedures.
- To work with the QC Manager with all aspects of H&S.
- Define staffing needs and allocate workload.
- Interact with stakeholders to resolve problems or answer questions.
- Maintain records, utilise specialized reports (WMS).
- Implement new methods, processes, and improvements in line with the depots vision.
- Identify operational needs in line with development of work force and daily work load.
- Consult and organise activities with other teams and departments.
- To deputise in the Operations Manager absence.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and requesting Warehouse Operatives depending on workload.
- Oversee of returns department and supporting the Returns Supervisor.
- Adhere to returns processes and requirements to match clients expectations.
- Deal with escalated emails regarding returns from the clients.
