SG&A Management Accountant
9 Month Fixed Term Contract
Manchester, M3 2BY - 2 days per week in the office

As a SG&A Management Accountant, you will be responsible for management of the SG&A cost centre and balance sheet reconciliations.
You will also be responsible for:
Accounting
Cost Centre Accounting for Premier Foods UK Commercial - General and Administration overheads
Detailed review of cost centres, ensuring correct transactions posted, investigating incorrect or unexpected costs and ensuring correct accounting treatment (accruals, prepayments, recharges)
Ensuring the accurate and timely reporting to cost centre managers, including insightful variance analysis, commentary, FTE/Headcount analysis, risks and opportunities
Budgeting and forecasting for SG&A costs in liaison with cost centre managers
Presenting consolidated UK Commercial performance to the UK Finance Director monthly and at each forecast
Ensure data in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) matches back to SAP and complete all necessary analysis and checks
Support embedding SAC with end users
Maintain up to date full year forecast by working with and challenging cost centre managers Support both internal and external auditors’ requests.
Process Improvement Pro-actively identify, research and recommend improvements to systems and processes within the team to ensure efficient and effective business operations. Testing and implementation of changes once approved
Control & Compliance Complete all Balance Sheet reconciliations on time and in compliance with agreed standards Operation of all controls are implemented and process and procedures are compliant with legal and audit requirements
Do You Offer…?
At least two years experience of working in a similar cost centre management role CIMA/ACCA Finalist/Newly qualified or equivalent in experience High level accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in regard to data validation and data entry Strong Excel skills (use of pivot tables, lookups, IF functions)
