Do you like working outdoors? Are you looking for a role that offers plenty of on the job learning and development opportunities? If so, we are looking for a Sewer Solutions Multifunction Operative to join our team!

Joining our Sewer Rehab and CCTV teams you will work across the picturesque Wessex Water region, which covers Bristol, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Bridgwater and everything in between, where you will assist with surveying and rehabilitating our waste network.

As you will be travelling across the region, this role will be best suited to candidates living within a 30-minute commute from Yeovil. A company vehicle along with all the tools you need will be provided, along with the opportunity to work overtime and earn an annual bonus on top of your salary.

The role

The role of a Sewer Solutions Multifunction Operative involves assisting both CCTV and Rehab crews as and when required under the direction and support of the Team Leader. It is essential that activities are carried out efficiently making sure that targets are met, while ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times.

Day to day you will be involved in surveying the waste network and undertaking reactive repairs and maintenance on the wastewater network. Repairs involve utilising innovative trenchless techniques, surveying and, where necessary, facilitating works to allow trenchless techniques to take place.

There is plenty of training provided out in the field within this role. Our dedicated Team Leaders will walk you through your role and how to use the CCTV, trenchless technologies equipment and techniques, so you are fully capable of performing in your role on a day-to-day basis.

What do I need?

We're looking for someone with a positive and can-do attitude who is well-organised, customer-focused and a great team player. You'll be working within a great team, outdoors and dealing with different challenges every day.

If you have previous experience doing a similar role working outdoors or in a practical manual handling role or using CCTV sewer surveying and or trenchless technologies and techniques this would be ideal, however is not essential as full training will be provided.

Due to the remote nature of the role, the successful candidate will need to hold a valid manual driving licence. If you hold a towing licence, this would be beneficial, however not essential as training can be provided.??

You will need to be flexible as the role involves working hours that include weekends and nights.?You must also be happy working outside in all conditions and if required stay away from home in overnight accommodation.
