Job Description
The key duties the Settlements Analyst will carry out are:
- Helping to train and develop the Settlements Team
- Ensuring that processes and procedures relating to payments are adhered to and monitored regularly*Ensureregularly*Ensure all payments are being processed in a timely manner
- Managing FXFX trade reconciliations
- Bank account reconciliation
- Processing of incoming payments and execution of outgoing payments
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
- Identifying system and process improvements and raising these for consideration
- Participating in projects ensuring business requirements are understood
- Generally assist the Head of Settlements with managing the day-to-day activities of the Settlements Team
The Successful Applicant
The pre-requisites for the Settlements Analyst are:
- Experience in financial services (FX brokerage or payments) preferred
- Strong time management skills
- Methodical and numerate, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with ability to both support and influence internal andexternal stakeholders
- You must be diligent, proactive and committed
- You must have the ability to adapt to new challenges and thrive outside of yourcomfort zones
- You must be a team player
