Job Title: Sessional Tutors English

Salary: £25 per hour
Hours: Various - Negotiable

Main Responsibilities
General
- To fully understand the aims, objectives and ethos of King’s Reach and to reflect these in your daily working life
- To adhere to King’s Reach policies and procedures
- To act in a professional yet approachable manner at all times
- To attend regular meetings and supervisions to help your own professional development
- To attend training as required
- To liaise and communicate with SLT, mentors and other staff to plan for holistic student progress
- Any other tasks as requested by your Line Manager
- To report to parents and carers three times per year

King’s Reach is a school based in Maidstone in the heart of Kent providing individually personalised and bespoke learning programmes for boys and young men aged 11– 25 with special educational needs and disabilities. We define ourselves as a community; an authentic family where ‘education without limits’ is the driving force behind our work with children and young people. Each young person’s offer at King’s Reach Education is curated following an in-depth induction which involves: home visits, social visits and experiences, taster experiences and unconditional relationship building activities to support confidence and readiness to engage in learning
Each young person’s timetable is designed and tailored according to their ‘voice’, the induction outcomes, presentation of need and their EHCP targets. Every young person is allocated a dedicated 1-1 mentor.
