Job description

Our client, Legal & General, is currently looking for Customer Service Consultants to join our Investment Service department to support with administrative duties and very occasional outbound telephony work. As such we are looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail and customer service experience.

You will support our Private Clients and the fast-paced Investment Service team working on the Residual Book of Customers, with admin duties such as gathering and checking information, working with back-office systems, and supporting the team with general queries. The role will also involve very occasional outbound calls to customers.

Therefore, we are looking for candidates with great attention to detail, good communication skills, a proven track record of handling high work volumes in a fast paced environment and a good understanding of what it means to provide outstanding customer service

What we can offer

  • Competitive pay of £14 per hour, inclusive of holidays and with weekly pay.
  • Customer Service experience is essential, (administration is preferred) and full and comprehensive training is provided.
  • Sociable working hours – core working hours are Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00, no late evenings or weekends!
  • This is a full-time role (35 hours per week).
  • Overtime is sometimes available at up to double time
  • The is a hybrid role based at the L&G office in Cardiff city centre. Initial training (approximately 2 weeks) will be office based, following on, you will work on a hybrid basis attending the office at 3 days per week and working from home for the remainder.
  • The start date for this role will be in August.
  • This is a temporary position, initially for 36 weeks, however extensions and permanent positions may be available. The successful candidate will also have access to the internal vacancies board and will be able to apply for exclusive permanent positions and other temp opportunities.
  • Upon successful completion of the full contract, workers will receive a lucrative retention bonus of 10% of all hours worked.

Salary: £14.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
  • Overtime
