Job description
We currently have a vacancy in our maintenance and repair team based at Kirkcaldy.
Caledonia Fire and Security provide design, installation, maintenance and repair services over a wide range of detection systems including fire alarms, intruder detection, CCTV and access control systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and allocating routine maintenance visits and reactive calls for our engineering team. Applications are invited from candidates who preferably have previous experience in this type of role.
Key responsibilities;
The position demands a high degree of customer awareness and satisfaction, attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead, duties include but are not limited to;
· booking and allocating routine maintenance visits, repairs and urgent calls
· maintaining the engineering diary for our technicians
· monitoring of technician progress
· communicating with operations manager and supervisors
· communicating with customers
Skills required;
· excellent telephone manner
· good geographical knowledge of Scotland
· ability to work as part of a team
