- A floor-based role this is a multi-skilled, multi-task service activity requiring well presented and well organised person to deliver a variety of services to the Client included in the One Stop Shop account portfolio. Both innovative and dynamic the post holder will have good communication skills and be customer service driven. Must be able to work on your own initiative, take responsibility for specific service areas or assigned buildings and be able to work enthusiastically as part of a service-focused team. The essence of this role is to make our customers' lives easier. This role represents an exciting challenge and opportunity for the right candidate
Main Duties
- Responsible for a wide variety of services and tasks with significant BAE Systems customer
- Ensuring that in specified / dedicated buildings, BAE Systems colleagues receive first-class service.
- Attend to emergency / urgent works when contacted and informed by the Customer Contact Centre (Help Desk).
- Report on the overall activities on daily basis to the Soft Services
- Report and log with the Customer Contact Centre team any out of line event, any safety concern, any system or breakdown which can not be resolved (e.g. lights not working, windows broken, trip or slip hazards, heating system not working, leaking taps )
- Methodically follow up assigned work orders, update and close upon completion of job and provide detailed feedback to the Customer Contact
- Source, develop and maintain relationship with retrospective BAE customers
- Ensure that clients are subjected to minimum disruptions whist work is carried
- Provide assistance to third parties as and when
- Carry out Go Look See's and Process Confirmations as requested
- Ensure all surrounding areas of the buildings are kept free from litter and debris
- Liaise on a daily basis with designated BAE Systems building customer to ensure overall satisfaction of the MITIE service delivery. Dealing efficiently and effectively with any matters / concerns raised during this process and ensuring satisfactory outcomes upon completion
- Assist in conference room set up
- Sub-contractor control. Point of contact for escorting of subcontractors carrying out for works for Soft Services function in the specified buildings
- Assist in goods delivery for buildings

- Good written, verbal & communication skills
- A reasonable level of computer literacy and ability to use PDA's
- Experience of working in a Total Facilities Management (TFM) environment an advantage
- Smart and presentable
- Good character, lively and outgoing

- Ability to work using own initiative
- No specific formal qualifications required
