As a Barclays Service Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to work across the CCO team to business partner with a number of key functions to drive performance delivered by a portfolio of 3rd party vendors whilst meeting the required cost, risk, and service parameters. You will provide a range of high-quality analysis and support including rigorous interpretation of vendor service management info and supporting the delivery of service changes and continuous improvements.

What will you be doing?
• Acting as an expert on Vendor Service Management framework and thinking about future supply chain of tomorrow
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across various functions in BUK and BX
  • Operating as they key point of contact for the service performance, ensuring accurate demand forecasts are provided
  • Defining and delivering a value adding service improvement plan to ensure delivery of “best in class” service to the group
  • Managing the relationship with internal clients and external to define and approve robust business requirements and demand profiles with clear cost, service, and risk metrics
  • Driving performance reviews with the supplier/clients to ensure visibility of the service performance, providing a forum for the escalation of any issues
  • Ensuring all regulatory/industry requirements are clearly articulated and delivered

What we’re looking for:
• Detailed knowledge and experience of Procurement
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Proven stakeholder management expertise, including influencing senior stakeholders
  • Excellent driven communication and interactive skills


Skills that will help you in the role:
• Previous experience in Vendor Management and fluency at explaining it to any audience
  • Knowledge of Change principles and evidence of application
  • Ability to influence and present with credibility at senior management level

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
