This is an exciting opportunity to join our Patient Services Team, in an expanding and busy practice in Caversham, Reading. We are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Manager who is passionate about providing a high-quality service and working in a supportive team.
You will manage a team providing help to patients needing to access Primary Care Services, both booking appointments and guiding them to the most appropriate services.
The role includes:
· Overseeing the patient support operations of the practice, ensuring patient services staff achieve their primary responsibilities.
· Line managing all Patient Services staff, supporting staff development, providing guidance and direction, ensuring staff are up to date with mandatory training.
· Completing staff appraisals as required.
· Identifying and delivering team training where required.
· Compiling patient services and clinical staff rotas.
· Reviewing and updating all Patient Services policies and procedures as required.
· Supporting the management team in the compilation of practice reports and the practice development plan.
· Providing initial guidance and advice to patients who wish to verbally complain.

Salary: £29,495 pa
