Scot Industrial Air are looking for a skilled Compressor Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. As an Engineer with SIA, you will visit a variety of customer sites throughout the area to carry out maintenance, repairs and services on our customers machines to a high standard.

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Carrying out fault finding inspections and repairs of compressors at customer sites and in our depot as required - in conformance with manufacturer’s specification and any regulations affecting their use
- Ensuring that there is no deficiency or defect likely to affect the safe working of a machine – and notifying appropriate manager of any defective or unsafe equipment
- Accurately completing all relevant paperwork on a handheld device
- Submitting daily timesheets and job cards
- Accurately ordering your parts and working closely with the parts department
- Working closely with the service supervisor
- Helping to train and mentor apprentice engineers
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role working on Compressed Air equipment, or motivation to learn about this type of equipment
- Relevant qualifications e.g. City and Guild, NVQ or SVQ in Engineering/Electrics/HGV/Vehicle (essential)
- Experience in industrial compressed air, compressed air systems and installations, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a busy environment
- Great customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with our customers
- Good IT skills
- A flexible and positive outlook with an outgoing approach to work
