Service Desk Support Analysts are the central point of contact between IT Services and BU end users, providing 1st line technical support on all IT related matters with the aim of resolving the majority of incidents and requests at first point of call by using diagnostic techniques, administrator rights and remote access tools.
A position has become available to join the team of Analysts. You will provide a high quality, customer focused interface to IT Services via telephone and electronic communication for a community of approximately 2,000 staff and 15,000 students. You will communicate with users, keep them updated on the progress of incidents or requests and notify them of impending changes and agreed outages.
You will be expected to maintain accurate records and reporting information to provide input to a continuous service improvement culture. Your good communication and time management skills are essential along with an overall understanding of IT service provision within a University environment.
