Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming reception to visitors, answering telephone calls and email queries
- Prepare the next day’s work for drivers including carrying out and recording end-of-shift debriefs
- Ensure customers are contacted with issues in advance and manage their expectations
- Input jobs on the hire desk system.
- Ensure the hire desk information system is always up to date, to ease finance invoicing procedures
- Support the General Manager and team leader on ad hoc tasks.
Requirements Essential
- Has a warm and professional manner
- Able to communicate effectively in person, via email and by telephone.
- Is calm under pressure in a busy environment and be able to multi-task
- A team member who is happy to be flexible if necessary
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of Office 365 and Excel
- Experienced in administrative activities/tasks.
- Able to manage customers with confidence
- The ability to think for themselves (proactive)
Desirable
- Has some supervisory experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Customer service/route planning back ground: 1 year (preferred)

- Drivers Licence (preferred)
