A Service Desk Analyst is required to provide internal support for 800+ staff in a windows operating system environment.
The role will require at least 4 days a week in the office at Farringdon.
The successful candidate will be motivated to want to improve their skills and build a career in IT support and projects.
Ownership of a problem from inception to completion is required and you will be required to keep stakeholders informed and ensure any escalated issued are appropriately managed. Escalated issues are an opportunity to improve skills alongside experienced colleagues.
The ideal candidate will be confident when communicating at all levels and will have experience of logging tickets and dealing the VPN, Windows and Office application issues. Trend analysis of common issues and suggesting permanent, root cause solutions is important as are suggestions for improving process and continual improvement of service quality.
You will need excellent documentation and troubleshooting skills with a demonstrable track record of mentoring within the team.

What we’re looking for in our Service Desk Analyst:

  • MINIMUM of 2 years’ experience dealing directly with colleagues at all levels and technical abilities.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar issues as well as think outside the box.
  • Windows 10 & 11, Microsoft Office 365 knowledge essential.
  • User administration, user creation, user password resets and account permission knowledge are required in an Azure based environment.
  • Some server knowledge is desirable as is scripting and automation.
  • Build of laptops from a standard image is required and experience of InTune and AutoPilot.
  • Networking skills to CCNA level is preferred
  • Understanding of when to escalate
