Reporting to the Head of IT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a reliable IT support operation. Operating at both the 1st and 2nd line levels, you will provide remote and field-based support to a large user base across our widespread site. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive IT support to end-users, ensuring timely issue resolution and adherence to high standards.
- Log and manage incident/service request details using an IT Service Management tool.
- Conduct investigation and diagnosis for first and second-line support.
- Resolve incidents and service requests promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with users, providing progress updates and notifying of changes or outages.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
Skills and Experience
Relevant certifications or a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.- Experience in an IT service desk or support role.
- Strong knowledge of supporting Windows OS endpoints and Apple iOS devices.
- Familiarity with core business systems and their technical requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
