Job description
To support the Grounds team, we are looking to recruit a Service Delivery Yard Coordinator to join Leeds Bradford Airport, to assist in providing a safe and efficient working environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring Service Yard users comply with the health and safety policy and site rules at all times
Co-ordinate deliveries and waste collections, ensuring vehicles are managed appropriate to the confines of the area.
To act as liaison between the relevant departments, contractors and other relevant parties in all operational and general health & safety and environmental issues
Co-ordinate the movement of personnel in the area in the event of Terminal evacuations and Emergency events
Ensuring that all accidents, near misses and incidents are reported on SIR in a timely fashion.
Carryout recorded inspections and log faults for all areas
To provide advice/guidance, assistance and technical help in all aspects relating to service yard and back of house operations
Ensuring all parties keep all areas clean and tidy
Issue non-compliance notices to any party not adhering to site rules
Ensuring all service yard users comply with LBA’s Waste Policy and Waste Management Protocol
Ensuring any spillages are managed and reported on the SIR system
Produce weekly and monthly reports on area compliance
Support the grounds team in all related maintenance
- Support in winter operations snow/ice clearance
Any other duties deemed as reasonable within the scope of the job role
Person Specification
Customer focussed with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Hold a current UK driving licence.
Strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Be reliable and enthusiastic
Have good customer service skills
To demonstrate a willingness to learn about the function and operation of an airport and the interrelationship between the airport, business partners and contractors
Due to security checks required for this role, all candidates will be subject to a basic criminal record check and must be able to provide a continuous five year checkable work history with verified gaps in employment.
