Job description

Award-winning family business Beanmachines is looking for a Service Co-Ordinator who loves working in a close-knit, friendly team to help manage their rapidly growing customer base nationally.

Responsible for answering inbound calls regarding servicing and booking in service work and managing engineers’ diaries for our fast-growing team. The successful candidate will be hands-on, organised, able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team, must be thorough and possess good communication and customer service skills.

Core Duties

  • Answer telephone calls and dealing with customer enquires using all communication methods
  • Accurate recording keeping and logging of customer enquires
  • Diary management
  • Upselling servicing products when booking in engineer repair/service or call out
  • Meeting deadlines and monthly targets

Essential role related knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience at selection

  • Must enjoy a busy vibrant office environment
  • 1-3 years of diary management and customer service experience required
  • Upselling/cross selling experience advantageous
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Team player
  • Enthusiastic
  • Must have a good telephone manner
  • No telesales - all inbound enquiries
  • Strong interpersonal organisational and time management skills
  • Customer focused
  • Able to think on your feet and problem solve
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Able to record accurate information
  • Able to forward plan with a proactive and reactive approach
