Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Glasgow Housing First are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.
Turning Point Scotland Glasgow Housing First
The Housing First Project was established in spring 2010 and is based upon the Housing First model developed and implemented in the United States as a method for reducing and preventing chronic homelessness. The premise of Housing First is that housing is a basic human right and is an integral part of a holistic support package offered to individuals.

As well as housing support staff will provide support on the maintenance of a tenancy, addiction, mental health, social inclusion, life skills and employability. The service will also promote harm reduction and relapse prevention.
The service users are supported Mon to Sat with the service staffed from 9am to 7.30pm.The service is person centred with the individual choosing their priorities in their recovery with support from the relevant voluntary and statutory agencies.
The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.
We believe having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity is all you need to join our team! We would offer you full support in completing your application.
As a Service Co-ordinator, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
