Axis Studios Group IT department is responsible for the design, specification, installation, commissioning, maintenance and support of all hardware and software technologies used throughout the Axis studios Animation and VFX business. General IT and specific VFX technology is integrated with Axis core technology to build flexible VFX and animation workflows on a common infrastructure.

The IT Services Co-ordinator role reports into the Head of IT to help manage contract renewals and purchasing for software and hardware assets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a Software Asset Management capacity and usage reports
• Oversee Hardware asset Management
• IT Vendor management for purchasing and contract renewals
• Software Contract renewals
• Hardware maintenance Contract renewals
• Working with the IT Team to monitor technology operational requirements
• Collaboration with the Finance team to review actual spend vs budget forecast

Skills and Experience

Technical knowledge/skills:

• Using Spreadsheets for straightforward data analysis
• Understanding of IT contracts terms and conditions
• Understanding different software licensing models (Desirable)
• Knowledge of User management and account provisioning (SyncSketch/Adobe/Miro)
• Maintaining and processing credit card purchasing
• Good negotiation skills
• Communicating with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
