Job Title: Parts Advisor

Mon to Fri every other Saturday. Wage is negotiable depending on experience.

Brief description of the role: Receive customer orders as required via telephone. Contribute to the overall success of a high performing organisation an promote the company brand through positive interaction with customers. On site training will be given.

Responsible to: Branch Manager, Assistant Manager

Main Duties and Requirements :

• Full UK Drivers Licence - Held for minimum of 3 years.
• Knowledge of MAM software or equivalent to process customer orders.
• Knowledge of the Vale of Glamorgan and surrounding areas.
• Taking customers orders.
• Punctual, organised, and efficient whilst working towards deadlines.
• Take payment if required (Cash/Cheque) and write out proof of takings.
• Ensure high levels of customer service at all times.
• Have 'the customer is always right' attitude.
• Relay and customer issues verbally and promptly.
• Pro-active and enthusiastic when speaking with customers.
• Maintain professional image.
• Be Able to demonstrate empathy towards customers.
• Limiting credits and returns by ordering and sending the right parts for the first time.
• Outbound calling to advise on promotions if necessary.
• Help in the warehouse as and when required.
• Be enthusiastic when asked to help in other areas.

Person Specification :

Essential

• Holds full driving licence
• Great Team player
• Smart appearance and professional presentation
• Ability to understand necessity of excellent standards of customer service and work to deadlines
• Good Communication skills
• Works with integrity and in the interests of the company
• Good time keeper
• Basic IT Skills

Desirable

• Experience within a previous delivery driver role in the cars parts and automotive industry
• Knowledge of car parts and automotive industry
• Previous cash handling
• Full clean driving license
