Service Advisor
Nissan Belfast
Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:30, Friday 08:00-17:00 and Saturday (on rota) 09:00-13:00
£26,000, expectations around £32000 with bonus, but could be more, performance depending
Charles Hurst Nissan Belfast is growing! Our goal is to be in the Top10 for customer satisfaction in the UK which is why we are looking to increase our Front of house Service Advisor headcount from 3 to 4 to make our customer visits memorable. Nissan is at the cusp of new product launches in the next 6-12 months. We’ve been at the forefront of Fully EV since the beginning and we have exciting products coming down the line.. Nissan Ariya is 6 months old and selling well so you will working with some amazing cars alongside our aftersales team to provide Charles Hurst first class customer service.
Joining our friendly aftersales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will report to Miles Cowie, Aftersales Manager at the dealership who will help impact your knowledge and experience along with the team of Service Advisors, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry. Miles’ Assistant Service Manager joined the business 5 years ago as an apprentice!! This is an opportunity not to be missed!
As a Service Advisor at Nissan, you will benefit from continuous training opportunities through our in-house brand development. This is a truly exciting opportunity with potential for progression opportunities within Charles Hurst!
Responsibilities:- Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for our customers
- Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories that will
- benefit the customer
- Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments, based on workload and call volumes
- Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
- Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the time when a customers’ car is in the workshop
- Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made
As a Service Advisor at our busy dealership you must have heaps of energy, a warm personality and a real passion for delivering a first class customer experience each and every time. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily whilst being able to explain technical information in a way that is clear and concise. Whether you come from the banking or retail sector, we look for the right qualities in someone, someone that cares about people! Previous experience using Kerridge / ADP would be an advantage, as well as having knowledge of other essential dealer systems.
You will be a great team player but be able to also work independently using your own initiative. We want to hear from you if you have worked in a similar role within the automotive industry and have a passion for customer service and cars!
