What we do:
Wessex International manufacture and supply specialist equipment to the ground care and agricultural sectors all around the world.
The role:
Our Technical Support Manager ensures the quality of our machines and liaises with customers who have queries on specific parts or functions of their equipment.
The role will include a variety of responsibilities ensuring all customer service administration tasks are completed daily. This includes:
- Answering the telephone
- Filtering emails
- Data input
- Warranty administration
You will be working alongside the service manager, taking equal responsibility in providing customers with the best possible experience and driving an efficient customer journey.
Our ideal candidate is therefore friendly, computer literate and works well from their initiative.
Essential criteria:
Please evidence the below or transferable skills in your application.
- Take any incoming telephone calls and speak with customers, occasionally regarding complex machinery parts. Being able to relay messages clearly verbally and in writing is essential.
- Filter and manage email inboxes and reply to customers to ensure queries are answered.
- Input data into systems so that we can track performance.
- Administrating Warranty agreements - training will be provided but experience in interpreting written information is advantageous.
- Experience in customer service.
- Well organized, methodical and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Good time management and a passion for drive, efficiency and attention to detail.
- Good level of IT literacy and a competent user of Microsoft applications; Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A willingness to learn as in-house training will be provided on systems such as CRM.

Working hours:
Full-time & permanent - 5 days per week, weekdays only based in our Andover office.
08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday with 1 hour lunch break (this may be negotiable depending on requirements)
