About us
Tipsy Tapas is a small business in Northampton. We are social, collaborative, customer-centric and our goal is to provide excellent service and a friendly environment for costumers and staff.
Our work environment includes:
- Food provided
28 hrs per week Monday to Friday.
Experience: At least 1 year (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining
- Provide excellent guest service, addressing any concerns or special requests
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail in order taking and order delivery
- Excellent hospitality skills, including guest relations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £8.50-£10.00 per hour
