About The R&A
Based in St Andrews, The R&A runs The Open, elite amateur events, international matches and rankings. Together The R&A and the USGA govern the sport of golf worldwide, operating in separate jurisdictions but sharing a commitment to a single code for the Rules of Golf, Rules of Amateur Status and Equipment Standards. The R&A, through R&A Rules Ltd, governs the sport worldwide, outside of the United States and Mexico, on behalf of over 41 million golfers in 144 countries and with the consent of 159 organisations from amateur and professional golf. The Niblick is located within the 5-Star R&A World Golf Museum in St Andrews, with uninterrupted panoramic views of the Old Course and West Sands beach. The Museum Galleries have recently been redeveloped to give visitors a unique, exciting, interactive experience of the history of golf. The Niblick is open 7 days a week and aims to enhance the Museum visitor experience and to appeal to locals and visitors to St Andrews. An additional feature is our exclusive premium evening hospitality experience, The Curator, which will be pre-sold, and will feature a private view of the Galleries, an opportunity to handle artefacts, a photograph with the Claret Jug, followed by 5-star dining. The Niblick are looking for full-time Waiting Staff to join The Niblick team. The successful candidate should be experienced in delivering first class levels of customer service. Hours will be 37.5 per week, 5 days out of seven on a rota including weekends.
